The innofab_ Ideenwettbewerb (innofab_ ideas competition) is open to actively researching students, employees, professors and alumni of TH Wildau and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Participation is possible both as an individual and as a team. There is a chance to win prizes worth a total of 4,000 euros.
The application documents must be submitted by May 16, 2022 via the online form on this page. The selected finalists are invited to take part in the innofab_ pitch training on May 31, 2022 (2 p.m. to 6 p.m.), either virtually or in person.
The finalists will present their ideas to the public at the 7th BTU Transfer Day on June 14, 2022. A jury of seven and the audience will then decide on the winners.

With the innofab_ Ideenwettbewerb (innofab_ ideas competition), you have the chance to make a big splash with your idea. Actively researching students, employees, professors and alumni of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. (TH Wildau) and the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg are invited to submit their research-based ideas, marketable products or services. Creative and fun approaches are also welcome here!
The prizes are worth a total of 4,000 euros. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to undergo professional pitch coaching.
The best ideas will be presented and awarded prizes at the 7th BTU-Transfertag, which will take place on June 14, 2022 under the slogan "Structural change in Lusatia - ideas, concepts, projects, financing" at the Cottbus Central Campus.
Apply by May 16, 2022 and let your innovative idea become a promising vision together with innofab_. Together we provide impulses for creativity and courage as well as the further development and implementation of scientific ideas. We promote the start-up culture in the state of Brandenburg and strengthen networking among each other. The innofab_ Ideenwettbewerb (innofab_ ideas competition) is organised by Innovation Hub 13which is the TH Wildau and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the Startup Revier EAST, the Startup Center and the Startup service .

At the innofab_ Ideenwettbewerb (innofab_ ideas competition), 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as the audience award are endowed with prize money by the following companies.
1st prize
1st place comes with prize money of 1,500 euros, awarded by Actemium BEA GmbH.
Actemium Prize Foundation
Actemium BEA is an engineering and plant construction company in electrical engineering and automation with over 100 years of experience in these business fields, specialising in plants for raw materials extraction, processing and energy generation.
3rd prize
The Rotec Bürotechnik GmbH presents 500 euros to the third prize winners.

The Kjellberg-Stiftung awards 1,000 euros to the winners of the Audience Award.
Kjellberg Prize Foundation
The Kjellberg Foundation supports projects related to welding and cutting technology as well as those that deal with technical progress, the improvement of working conditions or the promotion of structurally weak regions. The Kjellberg Foundation is the 100 percent shareholder of Kjellberg Finsterwalde.
A jury of seven will decide on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places on June 14 during the 7th BTU Transfer Day. Whoever wins the favour of the guests present will receive the public prize of the innofab_ Ideenwettbewerb (innofab_ ideas competition).
Jury
Seven jurors – representatives of the two participating universities and the companies that donate the prize money – will decide on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the innofab_ ideas competition.
